Ingredients:
- 200g paneer (cottage cheese), crumbled
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- Water for making a slurry
- Oil for frying
For the coating:
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
Method:
Prepare the Paneer Mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled paneer, breadcrumbs, grated mozzarella, chopped bell peppers, chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined evenly.
Shape the Paneer Bites:
- Take a small portion of the mixture and roll it into a bite-sized ball or cylinder shape.
Prepare the Cornflour Slurry:
- In a separate bowl, mix cornflour with enough water to create a thin slurry.
Coat the Paneer Bites:
- Dip each paneer bite into the cornflour slurry, ensuring it is well coated.
- Roll the coated paneer bite in the breadcrumb coating mixture (breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, and Italian seasoning).
Repeat the Coating Process:
- Double-coat each paneer bite by repeating the dipping and rolling process.

- Heat oil in a pan for frying.
