People like to eat Poha by adding peanuts and potatoes. Poha keeps you energetic. Poha is the first choice of every person. Anti oxides are found in Poha. Poha is rich in protein.


Material:


Coarse Poha 2 cups

1/3 cup onion, chopped
1 potato peeled and finely chopped

1/3 tsp mustard seeds
 
1/2 tsp cumin

8 curry leaves

green chilies chopped

1 pinch asafoetida,

1½ tbsp peanuts 

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1½ tsp lemon juice

1/2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp grated coconut optional

salt to taste

2 tbsp oil

1/4 cup pomegranate seeds optional2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


Method:

 

Take the poha in a big sieve. Keep it under the tap and wash it 1-2 times in running water. Remove excess water. Sprinkle salt and sugar over the poha and mix well and keep aside. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds crackle, add onion and fry till it becomes light brown. Add green chilies and curry leaves. Now add poha and mix well, add mustard seeds, peanuts and a pinch of asafoetida. Let it cook for about 30-40 seconds till the chilies start to turn crisp. Serve garnished with green coriander and brown onions
