Required material.


20 to 25 Baby Onions
 
A little oil 
& salt

1 tbsp Ghee

1 tsp Jeera

1 Bay Leaf

1 Black Cardamom

1 Large Onion


2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

2 tsp Coriander Seed Powder

1/2 tsp Haldi Powder

2 Tomatoes, Puréed

1/4 cup Fresh Cream + 

1/4 cup milk (mixed)

Some Chopped Coriander

1 tsp Crushed Kasoori Methi

A pinch of garam masala

 

 Make Malai Pyaj Ki recipe

First of all peel and wash the onion. Then cut it thinly and keep it in a plate. Now heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add asafoetida, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, bay leaves, and green cardamom. When it turns light brown, add chopped onions, ginger and green chilies, cover it and let it cook on low heat. Keep stirring in between. Cook the onion till it becomes soft. When the onion turns light brown, add all the spices like red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and mix it well, and add tomato paste to it and fry it. Cook with onions on medium heat for 2 minutes. After two minutes add cream to it. Add cream and mix well. And fry for 1 minute. Now add garam masala and green coriander and mix. And now turn off the gas. Onion curry with sour cream is ready. You can serve this creamy onion curry with roti, parathas.
