Wheat flour - 1/4 cup
Fresh fenugreek - 1 cup chopped
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup chopped
White sesame seeds - 2 tsp
Powdered sugar - 3 tsp (optional)
Salt - as per taste,
baking soda - 1 pinch, ginger,
garlic and green chili paste - 2 tsp,
red chili powder,
coriander powder,
cumin powder,
garam masala,
turmeric powder, 1 tsp,
asafoetida - 1-tsp,
lemon juice - 1 tbsp,
Oil- 3-4 tsp (for Moyan),.
Water - 3-4 tbsp,
Oil - for frying.
Now divide the dough into 18 equal parts and grease the dough with the help of oil. Now take one ball and roll it into a circle of about one and a half inch. Roll all the balls in this way. Now with the help of a fork, adopt these rolled mathris from both the sides. Now place these billi mathris in a baking tray. Methi Mathri is ready to bake. Now place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake the mathris for about 30 minutes. Serve the mathris only after cooling them down.
